Glenn Beck

Glenn Beck and his enterprises are the proud hosts and sponsors of this unprecedented art event. Glenn’s career in the media spans over forty years with influence and reach to millions of people around the globe. He is an American conservative political commentator, radio host, entrepreneur, philanthropist, producer, and the CEO/founder/owner of Mercury Radio Arts, the parent company of his television and radio network The Blaze. He hosts the Glenn Beck Radio Program, a talk-radio show nationally syndicated on Premiere Radio Networks. Beck also hosts the Glenn Beck Television Program, which ran on HLN and on Fox News for years previously and now airs on The Blaze. Beck has authored six New York Times best-selling books.

Glenn is a self-taught historian, an avid collector of national and international historic artifacts, and founder  of “The American Journey Experience,” an interactive display of his vast artifact collection. A collector of  art as well, Glenn has a personal collection including the works of Homer, Maynard Dixon, Rembrandt  Peale, J.C. Leyendecker, and works of many contemporary artists. Glenn developed his own artistic skills  during the 2020 pandemic quarantine. Park City Fine Art Gallery in Utah hosted his first one-man show in  June 2022, featuring a large collection of Glenn’s paintings that portray some of his favorite historic stories. The nearly sold-out show proved Beck’s storytelling is as compelling in paint as in words. Glenn has done  commissions for prestigious clients and has paintings held in private collections around the world.

Show Origination & Concept

The success of Glenn’s first solo art show further ignited his passion and he began collaborating with other artists. The vision for an expansive art exhibition was initiated at Glenn’s Idaho ranch in July 2022, when he and a select group of artists gathered to create and confer about composing art with pure motive to inspire. They also discussed how to make art more inclusive and accessible with an event that welcomes newcomers to the art market as well as seasoned patrons and collectors. The inspiration for “American Narratives in Fine Art” was born and comes to fruition with this 2024 event.

At a time of national turmoil and divisiveness, Glenn and the participating artists of this exhibition aspire to utilize art to unite people and celebrate cherished American values. “It is a new concept for an art show,” says artist Josh Clare. “We are exercising faith to participate, but nothing beautiful happens without a leap of faith.”

As a self-taught historian, Glenn has amassed a valuable and vast collection of national historic artifacts, and he offered this collection to the artists to use as inspiration to create art for this show. Artifacts used by the artists will be displayed with the art to create an interactive and unique presentation of illustrative American storytelling.

fixed price sale

Art in this show is available for sale at a fixed price which is indicated on the information card displayed by the artwork. The fixed price sale will go as follows: The 2024 AMERICAN NARRATIVES IN FINE ART SALE will open Saturday, September 21, at 5:30 PM at Mercury Studios. Each attendee who has purchased a ticket to the sale will receive a ballot book containing one ballot for each art piece in the exhibition. Each ballot book contains an assigned number registered to the purchaser of that ballot book.

Purchasers have until 6:30 PM to drop their signed and numbered ballot into boxes by the art they wish to purchase. At 6:30 PM each salesperson will randomly draw three names and post them on a large card near each work. The printed art number on the drawn ballots must match the number of the art piece, and the name on the ballot must match the name registered to that ballot book number. The person whose name is posted first will have 30 minutes to claim the art from the salesperson and pick up the BILL OF SALE. If the first individual has not claimed the art after 30 minutes, the second name becomes eligible to purchase the art for the next 20 minutes. When those 20 minutes expire, the third name becomes eligible to purchase the art for the next 10 minutes. For sculpture with multiple castings, the first name drawn receives the work on display. Additional names are drawn for remaining castings, if available. Once the sale is confirmed, the seller will write SOLD on the large card. At 7:30 p.m., unsold art is available on a first-come, first-served basis until close of the show at 8:00 PM.

ONLY THE PERSON WHOSE BALLOT BOOK NUMBER MATCHES THE NAME POSTED CAN PAY FOR THE ART. ALL ART PURCHASES REQUIRE PAYMENT IN FULL THE NIGHT OF THE SALE.
